We are currently recommending the use of Nichiha Fiber Cement. Nichiha’s Nichiboard is a green building product and is manufactured in the US. Other siding choices include natural wood, cedar shake, hardboard (such as Hardiboard), vinyl, and other fiber cement options. We also recommend the use of Azek trim boards in most siding replacements. The PVC product does not rot and does not need to be painted.
